Heritage Programmes

Flame FM have been given funding by the Local Heritage Initiative to produce local heritage programmes for broadcast in 2006-08. The programmes are called "Look Back" and are 15 minutes duration. This is an unique opportunity for local heritage topics to be aired on Wirral airwaves. We want the local community to be able to listen, learn and lend a hand in this project. There are also opportunities for training in radio production, image design and research skills.

If you have other thoughts on what makes a good heritage programme or know an expert who would happy to be interviewed by our team then please contact us and help us contribute to the success of this unique opportunity to record our local heritage for generations to come.

All of the programmes listed below are available on this website for listening and new ones will be added in the near future.
